Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 53-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Red Cloud advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Harvard (Harvard, NE) to play the Cardinals in a D6 District 2 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Harvard lost 58-12 in their recent league battle against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE)
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Parkview Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Meridian will play a Patriots team coming off a 60-16 league loss to Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
