The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils football team (Shenandoah, PA), was crushed 50-0 in Friday's league bout with the host Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA)

With the win, Nativity BVM advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA) to encounter the Golden Bears in a Colonial-Schuylkill - C bout on Friday, October 4. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Mahanoy Area won 48-22 in their recent league bout against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA)

The Blue Devils now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Tri-Valley for a Colonial-Schuylkill - C bout on Friday, October 4. Shenandoah Valley will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-7 league win over Panther Valley (Lansford, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
