The Norway Knights walloped the visiting St.Ignace Saints football team by a score of 60-22 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights play the Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) in a Great Lakes - East 1 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Norway will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 50-18 league win over Newberry (Newberry, MI).
The Saints (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Great Lakes - East 1 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Rudyard was ripped by Pickford (Pickford, MI), 43-0, in a league challenge.
