Kansas High School Football - Syracuse overwhelmed by Oakley

The Oakley Plainsmen walloped the visiting Syracuse Bulldogs football team by a score of 35-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Plainsmen face the Plainville/Natoma (Plainville, KS) in a Mid-Continent challenge, on Friday, October 4. Oakley will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 14-8 league win over Smith Center (Smith Center, KS).

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Trojans enter the Hi-Plains challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Stanton County was ripped by Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS), 50-7, in a league challenge.
