In their next game, the Greenwaves face the North Side Gators (Shelby, MS) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 4. O'Bannon will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Gators go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 50-14 league win over Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS).

The Dragons (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS). The Pirates go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Coffeeville was edged by Simmons (Hollandale, MS), 56-0, in a non-league challenge.
