Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 27-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Williamsville advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Bullets travel to Athens (Athens, IL) to play the Warriors in a Sangamo battle on Friday, October 4. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Athens won 67-28 in their recent league battle against Auburn (Auburn, IL)
The Spartans now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a Sangamo battle on Friday, October 4. Olympia will play a Vipers team coming off a 35-0 league win over Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL). The Vipers record now stands at 5-0.
