The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dumas for a 3A Region 8 test on Friday, October 4. Rison will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 28-6 league win over Lakeside (Lake Village, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Palestine-Wheatley drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Barton (Lexa, AR) to meet the Bears in a 3A Region 8 test on Friday, October 4. The Bears come into the test with a record of 2-2. Barton lost 42-6 in their recent league test against Fordyce (Fordyce, AR)
