The Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) football knocked off the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), 35-27 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wallace for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. Paxton will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-45 league win over Southwest (Bartley, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Wauneta-Palisade drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE) to clash with the Mustangs in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 4. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller won 56-31 in their recent league outing against Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE)
