California High School Football - Sonoma Valley tops Piner

September 27, 2024: Sonoma, CA 95476

The Sonoma Valley Dragons football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Piner Prospectors to 7 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Rafael for a Redwood Empire - Mountain test on Friday, October 4. Sonoma Valley will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-13 league win over Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Piner drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Prospectors travel to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Santa Rosa lost 41-14 in their recent non-league test against Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA)
