The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE) and the host Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE), witnessed Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s football squad knock off Plainview by a tally of 60-42.

The Bobcats (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles enter the D1 District 4 (8 Man) contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Lutheran-Northeast was outscored by Stanton (Stanton, NE), 62-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates battle the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears (Laurel, NE) in a D1 District 4 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 4. Plainview will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 46-32 league loss to Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE).
