In Friday's league game, the Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) football team edged the visiting Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), by a tally of 21-20.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 4. Ralston will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 31-0 league loss to York (York, NE).
