The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles (Vicksburg, MS) and the visiting Tensas Academy Chiefs (St. Joseph, LA), witnessed Porter's Chapel Academy's football squad wallop Tensas Academy by a tally of 62-30.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS). The Cougars enter the MAIS 8-Man 2A District 3 (8 Man) contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest Christian was trounced by Ben's Ford Christian (Bogalusa, LA), 60-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Chiefs confront the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams (Woodville, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 3 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 4. Tensas Academy will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 48-6 league win over Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA).
