The River Valley Panthers football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons to 6 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conemaugh Valley for a Heritage test on Friday, October 4. River Valley will meet a Blue Jays squad coming off a 20-14 league loss to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Purchase Line drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Red dragons host Marion Center (Marion Center, PA) to meet the Stingers in a Heritage test on Friday, October 4. The Stingers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Marion Center lost 32-0 in their recent league test against Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA)
