Georgia High School Football - Sonoraville overwhelmed by Rockmart

September 27, 2024: Rockmart, GA 30153

In Friday's league game, the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) football team triumphed over the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA), by a tally of 42-7.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the North Cobb Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a AA Region 7 game, on Friday, October 11. Rockmart will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.

The Phoenix (2-4) will now prepare for their game against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Mountaineers come into the AA Region 7 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, North Murray was routed by Union County (Blairsville, GA), 21-0, in a league test.
