Texas High School Football - Sabinal wallops Rocksprings

The Sabinal Yellowjackets football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Rocksprings Angoras to 6 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Center Point for a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 4. Sabinal will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 18-7 league loss to La Pryor (La Pryor, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Rocksprings drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Angoras travel to Junction (Junction, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, October 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-1. Junction lost 35-12 in their recent non-league test against Mason (Mason, TX)
