In Friday's league game, the Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) football team triumphed over the visiting Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE), by a tally of 43-8.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) in a D1 District 7 (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 4. Sandy Creek will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.
