Iowa High School Football - Unity Christian trounces Sheldon

September 27, 2024: Sheldon, IA 51201

In Friday's league match, the visiting Unity Christian Knights football squad scored a decisive 52-20 triumph over the Sheldon Orabs.

The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Central Lyon/George-Little Rock (Rock Rapids, IA). The Lions come into the 2A District 1 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock was routed by Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA), 16-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Orabs confront the Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) in a 2A District 1 match, on Friday, October 4. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 14-0 league loss to West Lyon (Inwood, IA).
