In their next game, the Eagles play the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a 1A District 8 challenge, on Friday, October 4. Underwood will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 28-7 league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA).

The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers go into the 1A District 8 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Red Oak toppled Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA), 44-6, in a league challenge.
