Michigan High School Football - Wayland nudges Spring Lake

September 27, 2024: Wayland, MI 49348

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) and the visiting Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI), witnessed Wayland's football squad edge Spring Lake by a tally of 21-14.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI). The Falcons enter the Ottawa-Kent - White contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, West Catholic got by Christian (Grand Rapids, MI), 35-13, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lakers confront the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - White contest, on Friday, October 4. Spring Lake will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 28-7 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MI).
