Illinois High School Football - Taft prevails Westinghouse

In Friday's league match, the host Taft Eagles football squad scored a good 34-8 triumph over the Westinghouse Warriors.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Phillips (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats come into the Chicago Public - Red match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Phillips defeated Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL), 35-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red match, on Saturday, October 5. Westinghouse will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
