The Capuchino Mustangs football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Homestead Mustangs to 7 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Camino for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Capuchino will meet a Colts squad coming off a 33-20 league win over Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Colts record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Homestead drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Woodside (Woodside, CA) to meet the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, October 10. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-1.
