The Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) softball nipped the host Troy-Buchanan Trojans (Troy, MO), 8-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty North for a non-league outing on Friday, September 27.
With the loss, Troy-Buchanan moves to 12-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Howell North (St. Charles, MO) to encounter the Knights in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 7-9.
