The Cornerstone Christian Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they host United Christian Academy for a VISAA Virginia Christian - Northern outing on Monday, September 30. Cornerstone Christian will play a Crusaders team coming off a 3-1 league win over Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Fresta Valley Christian drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Grace Christian (Staunton, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 12-3. Grace Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA)
