In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Oswego Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Taylorville Tornadoes.

The Panthers (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Breese Central beat East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tornadoes meet the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Taylorville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL).
