The Avon Old Farms Beavers walloped the host Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights football team by a score of 48-14 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Beavers face the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) in a Founders challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Avon Old Farms will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Wild Boars enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 35-0 league win over Kent School (Kent, CT).

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lawrence Academy triumphed over St. George's (Middletown, RI), 31-13, in a non-league test.
