The Roosevelt Roughriders edged the host Ballard Beavers football squad by a margin of 10-3 in Saturday's league outing.
The Roughriders now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Garfield for a 3A Metro - Mountain outing on Friday, October 3. Roosevelt will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Ballard drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA) to face the Crusaders in a 3A Metro - Mountain game on Friday, October 3. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 3-1. Eastside Catholic lost 24-20 in their recent league game against O'Dea (Seattle, WA)
