The Poultney Blue Devils football team (Poultney, VT), dropped 14-6 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT)
The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds go into the Lake bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Missisquoi Valley was topped by Otter Valley (Brandon, VT), 62-8, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT) in a CVL match, on Friday, October 3. Poultney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cosmos enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 49-6 non-league loss to Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT).
