Connecticut High School Football - Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT loses to Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley

September 27, 2025: Meriden, CT

Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT (Meriden, CT), 43-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Amistad (New Haven, CT) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Amistad lost 41-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hillhouse (New Haven, CT)

The now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bullard-Havens for a Connecticut Tech match on Saturday, October 4. Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 33-6 league win over Vinal RVT/Goodwin RVT/Whitney RVT (Middletown, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
