New Jersey High School Football - Paul VI nudges Willingboro

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Paul VI Eagles football squad scored a close 27-24 victory over the Willingboro Chimeras.

With the win, Paul VI advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ) to confront the Irish in a non-league match on Thursday, October 9. The Irish come into the match with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Chimeras play the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 3. Willingboro will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Chargers go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 21-6 league loss to Delsea (Franklinville, NJ).
