The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats to 7 in the Monarchs league triumph on Saturday.

The Monarchs now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Christian for a test on Friday, October 3. Archbishop Mitty will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 42-11 non-league win over Patterson (Patterson, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres enter the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Junipero Serra held off Clovis North (Fresno, CA), 42-21, in a non-league challenge.
