The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ) and the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), witnessed Bloomfield's football squad knock off Columbia by a tally of 36-6.

The Bengals (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. Columbia will encounter a Pioneers team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
