The Aptos Mariners flag football team scored 13 points and held the visiting Soledad Aztecs to 6 in the Mariners non-league victory on Saturday.

In their next game, the Mariners face the Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Aptos will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 13-0 league loss to Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA).

The Aztecs (4-4) will now prepare for their test against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors come into the test with a 7-1 record.
