South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), 8-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, South Elgin improves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Storm travel to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to meet the Rams in a match on Monday, September 29. The Rams come into the match with a record of 3-7. Glenbard East lost 32-25 in their recent league match against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

Coming up next, the Chargers meet the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) in a match, on Tuesday, September 30. Dundee-Crown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Gators go into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 46-30 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
