Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) fans were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Edison Chargers (Milan, OH), 4-2 in a non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Berea-Midpark for a Southwestern game on Wednesday, October 1. Elyria will face a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Titans record now stands at 4-7.
The Chargers (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Perkins (Sandusky, OH). The Pirates go into the Sandusky Bay bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, Perkins got by Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), 7-3, in a non-league bout.
