The Hope Christian Huskies soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting St. Pius X Sartans to 2 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies now hold a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Valley for a 4A District 6 bout on Tuesday, September 30. Hope Christian will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, St. Pius X moves to 8-4 on the year. The Sartans travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to play the Jaguars in a 4A District 5 bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Valencia won 2-1 in their recent league game against Grants (Grants, NM)
