The Shelton Highclimbers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Hoquiam Grizzlies to 1 in the Highclimbers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Highclimbers now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Black Hills for a 2A Evergreen bout on Tuesday, September 30. Shelton will play a Wolves squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to WF West (Chehalis, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-1.
The Grizzlies (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Evergreen challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Montesano nudged Tenino (Tenino, WA), 4-0, in a league challenge.
