The Wellsboro Hornets soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Jersey Shore Bulldogs to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Athens for a PIAA District IV-AAA bout on Tuesday, September 30. Wellsboro will face a Wildcats team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

The Bulldogs (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Danville (Danville, PA). The Ironmen come into the PIAA District IV-AAA game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Danville by Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 6-1, in a league game.
