In Saturday's non-league match, the host Simsbury Trojans football squad scored a good 40-14 victory over the Hall/Conard Warchiefs.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their match against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT). The Bobcats enter the match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, South Windsor thwarted Manchester (Manchester, CT), 14-6, in a non-league battle.
The Warchiefs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Southington for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. Hall/Conard will play a Blue Knights team coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Blue Knights record now stands at 1-0.
