Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) and the visiting Abingdon Commandos (Abingdon, IL), saw Illini Bluffs's soccer squad prevail over Abingdon by a score of 5-1.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Peoria Christian by Morton (Morton, IL), 6-0, in a non-league test.
The Commandos now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Monmouth-Roseville for a non-league test on Monday, September 29.
