Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Wootton improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 8. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Churchill will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
