With the win, Monta Vista improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Matadors travel to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 27. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 1-0.

Next, the Trojans meet the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Alisal will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Pirates go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA).
