California High School Volleyball - Oakmont can't get by Deer Valley

The Deer Valley Wolverines edged the visiting Oakmont Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) in a game, on Thursday, October 9. Deer Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.

With the loss, Oakmont drops to 9-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Amador (Sutter Creek, CA) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. The Buffaloes come into the outing with a record of 9-7. Amador lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Argonaut (Jackson, CA)
