Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) and the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), observed Thousand Oaks's volleyball team top Poly by a count of 2-0.

The Lancers (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Chancellors enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Chatsworth was knocked off by Taft (Woodland Hills, CA), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Parrots battle the Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 27. Poly will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wolves go into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Panorama (Panorama City, CA).
