The Eagles now hold a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Apollo will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Meade County moves to 6-9 on the year. The Green waves host Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to encounter the Wildcats in a District 11 challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-13.
