Indiana High School Soccer - Lakeland Christian Academy knocks off Blackford

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Blackford Bruins.
The Cougars (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cavaliers go into the Hoosier Plains outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Fort Wayne Canterbury was overwhelmed by Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bruins play the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Blackford will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Connersville (Connersville, IN).
