Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY), saw Blazer's soccer squad triumph over Pikeville by a score of 8-2.

The Tomcats (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Cabell Midland nipped Riverside (Belle, WV), 10-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson Central for a District 57 outing on Monday, September 29.
