With the triumph, Western Wayne moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Lackawanna - Division II test on Monday, September 29. The Chiefs go into the outing with a record of 2-10.

Next up, the Foresters confront the Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division III outing, on Monday, September 29. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
