Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) and the host Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA), saw Greensburg Central Catholic's soccer squad hold off Freeport by a count of 3-2.

The Centurions (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers enter the WPIAL A 2 battle with a 7-5 record.

Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) in a WPIAL AA 2 battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Freeport will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record.
