The Rutland Raiders held off the visiting Middlebury Tigers soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next, the Raiders face the Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT) in a SVL-A bout, on Tuesday, September 30. Rutland will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hartford (White River Junction, VT).

With the loss, Middlebury moves to 2-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT) to play the Thunderbirds in a Lake bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 0-6.
