Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) and the host Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA), saw Palisades's soccer squad hold off Wilson Area by a count of 2-1.

The Pirates (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Schuylkill Haven was edged by Northumberland Christian (Northumberland, PA), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) in a Colonial battle, on Monday, September 29. Wilson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
